So that 8$ tool that the factory service manual doesn’t mention: absolutely critical.

Following the suggestion of dogisabob, I purchased speed bleeders for the front and the back. worked marvelously. for 20$.... I think it’s a fair trade for my time.

Bubbles have mostly stopped. I am still getting a very small amount of tiny, tiny (needle point sized ) bubbles in the front end, I think that’s ok? Brakes feel good. I still need to do a second trip around again but I am much more confident.

Doggo in a windo for your time:

If they feel good to you, it is probably ok. But of course, it’s easy with the speed bleeders, so you can always bleed them again.

Speed bleeders are the bomb, but I have had issues where air gets back in past the threads or something, leading to slight bubbles all the time. If possible, have someone pushing the pedal down while you close it off the last time, as if it were a normal bleeder.

I did do that just in case.
